The Masked Reader

Happy World Book Day!
We are really excited to see what favourite stories you share with us from home. Here are some of our favourite stories, but we are all hiding behind the covers of the books - can you work out who we are from the pictures or our voices?
We hope you enjoy watching 'The Masked Reader' as much as we enjoyed sharing our favourite stories with you! Don't forget to upload your pictures onto Tapestry or Class Dojo, if you can.
Have a fantastic World Book Day!

Inspired by Tom Fletcher, Evelyn has written her own fantastic version of a 'What's in Your Book?' interactive story. Have fun reading along with Evelyn and make sure you join in with her!
Well done Evelyn!

World Book Day £1 Books

Your £1 book token can be swapped for one of these books in a local bookstore.

Miss Davies and Mrs Holland wanted to share some of them with you.  We hope you enjoy listening to these stories and join in if you can!

World Book Day Corner!

Thursday 4th March 2021 is World Book Day and all through the week we will be sharing lots of magical reading materials to encourage you to have the best World Book Day you can from home!

Our theme this year is 'Sharing Stories': we will be asking you to share what favourite stories you have at home and we are hoping to share some of your photographs to celebrate them on here too.  The team will also be sharing something exciting involving their favourite books!

Happy World Book Day!

Children at home

We are excited to see what favourite books you share with us this week from home.  Please share pictures or videos of you reading your favourite books with us on Tapestry and Class Dojo in a creative way.  You may choose to find a creative place to read your book or find a costume to read your book in, if you have one readily available at home.

Children in school

We will be looking at the fun World Book Day activities set for home learning by your class teachers in school too. Unfortunately, due to our Covid-19 risk assessment, we will not be able to invite you to wear a costume into school for World Book Day.  However, if you would still like to share your favourite stories from home in a creative place or costume, we would still really like you to join in from home and upload a photo/video on Tapestry/Class Dojo if you can.
