Hi everyone,

I hope you've all had a good weekend and have enjoyed the snow. I certainly have - I even made a snow angel!!!

This week the English is  a little different. Please follow the powerpoint there is a warm up activity each day and then a video which is on here. I can't put a link on the powerpoint as it doesn't open properly so open it from this page - it works best in Google Chrome. There are videos for Monday to Thursday which the children should be able to do independently. It's based on the book Aladdin and focuses on the start of the story. I have put 4 on to get them used to using them and will really help them write the rest of the story. Next week there will be only 2 videos. I would be very interested to know how the children engage with the Oak academy videos- Please be honest. Each day there is a challenge or additional activity as well for the children to do if they want to. There are spelling activities as well.

In the Maths this week Monday, Wednesday and Friday are powerpoint led. Tuesday and Thursday are video led. There are just examples and all the children's activities are in the math's tasks and challenges word documents.

I hope the children enjoy all the other activities. I know they'll love the Aladdin art!
