Spring 2021

Happy New Year to you all!

I hope you all had a well deserved Christmas break. As I'm sure you are aware, online learning will be taking place from 5th January 2021 and is to be reviewed come February half-term. Therefore, I have created a home learning section where you can access lessons and activities to complete. I understand that this is a difficult time, so please do not hesitate to contact me via the office or email if you have any questions or concerns.

Below you will find our suggested weekly home learning timetable, this is a guide. We will also be having class catch ups via Microsft Teams, the link to these can be found in the pdf document on Class Dojo. We also have a daily Class Worship, this is normally at the start of the day, however you are more than welcome to do this at a time in that day that best suits you.

Children's Mental Health Week 01.02.2021 - 07.01.2021

Children's mental health is extremely important, more so than ever given the current circumstances. Many children are missing  family members, friends and school. Please have a look at the website below for support and activities for children's mental health and well-being.

The website focuses on the theme of expression and encouraging children to talk about their thoughts and feelings.

On this website there is also a link to a virtual mental health assembly, which gives children tips to help them unwind and relax.

05.02.2021 Friday Teams

On Friday the 2nd of February for Mental Health week for our Teams you can DRESS TO EXPRESS! This means you can express yourself through your clothes, hairstyle or you might even dress in your favourite colour.

You will also have the opportunity to talk about why you have chosen what you're wearing.

Reading at Home

'The more that your read, the more things you will know. The more that you know, the more places you will go.' -Dr Seuss

It was lovely to see 3F share their favourite book on Teams at the beginning of term, normally in class we would have a class story on the go, which we would read for a few minutes each day. Sadly that can't happen at the moment, but you could take some time out in your day to get dive into a story!

Below are some reading resources that you could use.
