Well done Reception (and grown ups too!), you have made it to the last week of home learning. We are so excited to have you back in the classrooms next week and learning and playing together with all your friends again!
This week is a special week as it includes World Book Day so we are back to our reading book focus and will be looking at the story 'The Three Little Pigs' so hope you have lots of huffing and puffing ready. There are lots of learning tasks this week around the story and in particular lots of creative tasks making and building their homes. You will have the chance to become scientists again and practise huffing and puffing objects and with our Maths we are looking at grouping in pairs to see how many shoes and socks animals would need to keep warm.
On Thursday it is World Book Day and the theme is 'Sharing Stories' this year for all the children in the school to send in photos or videos of the most creative place you like to do your reading.
Hope you enjoy your last week of home learning. On Friday Miss Taylor has suggested you can use the day as a 'catch up' day to finish any work from previous days but there are still some new activities for those of you who wish to do them on Friday but if you need the day you can use it to catch up instead.
We look forward to welcoming you all back next week!!
