Year 6 - PGL Boreatton Park
Monday 22nd - Wednesday 24th June 2026
Day One
Year 6s have arrived safely and have settled in brilliantly.
After a good picnic, the children have thrown themselves into an action‑packed first afternoon of climbing, laser tag and orienteering.
This evening, we enjoyed a lively “campfire‑without‑the‑fire” sing‑song, full of laughter and energy.
Despite the warm weather, everyone is happy, comfortable and settled for the night — tired in the best possible way after a fantastic first day.
Day two has been absolutely fantastic — the children have thrown themselves into zip wire, canoeing, orienteering and even more climbing with brilliant enthusiasm. Their teamwork, courage and resilience have shone through in every activity, and we are incredibly proud of them. We even gathered together to watch the England match — the result wasn’t quite what we hoped for, but the children’s spirits stayed high and we all enjoyed the moment.
After a good night’s sleep, they’re recharged and ready for another day of adventure. They are representing the school beautifully and showing exactly why we’re so proud of them.
Day three at PGL has been a brilliant showcase of teamwork, resilience and pure joy. Children have canoed, zipped through the air, tackled problem‑solving challenges, played laser tag and thrown themselves into every activity with enthusiasm. Despite the hot weather, they’ve shown fantastic perseverance, supported one another and embraced every opportunity with big smiles. A wonderful day of team spirit, challenge and adventure.
More photos of our adventures to follow - once iPad 2 has cooled down and recharged :)
A huge well done and thank you for being so amazing, Year 6!
