During our sustainability sessions for Science Week, we found out about sustainable living, how carbon footprints have grown and how we could reduce ours.
We then learnt about the journey of milk from grass to glass and the growth of the milk industry. Following on from this, we used locally sourced milk to make homemade ice cream. It was really interesting and the children's ice cream was amazing! Well done, Year 5.

Happy half term, Year 5!
I hope you all made it home safely in the high winds yesterday and had a lovely evening to start your half term. As some of you were collected from school at different times due to yesterday's weather, here is the half term project for you all to have a go at next week.
