Good morning Year 6! I hope you all had a great weekend and are ready for another week of remote learning.
This week, you will be finding out about WWII poetry in English, using your fractions and decimal knowledge for your Maths learning (as well as looking at what percent means), discovering more about Judaism, performing balances in gymnastics and thinking about different ways you can keep looking after your physical and mental health while at home.
I hope you enjoy your tasks and upload some pictures of your work onto your Class Dojo profile if you get chance.
Have a great week and I am looking forward to seeing you on our Wednesday's Teams!
Miss D :)
Here are some resources you might find useful to help you with your English tasks this week:
Word documents can be edited on the computer.
PDF documents can be printed if you have access to a printer or they can be used as a guide for creating your own on paper.
Ideally, a printed copy of Tuesday's poem would be useful for the task however I do appreciate it is not always possible to print out resources. The poem or sections of it could be written on paper to practise handwriting too.
Weekly Worship on Patience:
Here are this week's different Topic Tasks for you to have a go at from home.
Please try to complete one of these activities each day - you can choose which activities you do and what order you do them it. Try to complete PE and RE activities weekly if you can:
These are your daily Maths and English, and Topic tasks only from the PDFs above in a PowerPoint format:
(NB: They do not need to be printed to complete the activities).
