18th January - Week 3

Monday 18th January 2021

Good morning Year 6! I hope you all had a great weekend and are ready for your third week of remote learning.

This week, you will be finding out about WWII rationing in English, using your decimal knowledge for your Maths learning, discovering more about Sikhism, performing jumps in gymnastics and creating natural art inspired by Andy Goldsworthy.  I hope you enjoy your tasks and upload some pictures of your work onto your Class Dojo profile if you get chance.

English Resources

Here is a newspaper planning grid and a newspaper template you may want to use to help you with your English work this week:

(There are two versions of the planning grid and report template: one that can be filled in through Microsoft Word or one that can be printed if you can / want to fill it in by hand.  You could always design your own planning grid and newspaper template if you want to).

Here is this week's Worship PDF on 'Service'.

Here are this week's different Topic Tasks for you to have a go at from home.

Please try to complete one of these activities each day - you can choose which activities you do and what order you do them it.  Try to complete PE and RE activities weekly if you can:

Here are some additional materials you may want to have a look at to support your Topic tasks this week:
